What is the difference between subscription payments and installment payments?
Recurring billing subscriptions allow you to sell and promote products and services, for example software licenses and membership sites, where customers receive ongoing value. Customers must receive value for each payment that is made. For example, continued membership each month would be of value, or a newsletter delivered upon completion of each payment would be of value. Installment payments allow for customers to purchase and access a single product or service, but spread out the payments over a period of time after the purchase.
