What is the difference between SubdivisionSites auctions and SubdivisionSites classifieds?
SubdivisionSites Auctions allow your item to be bid up. Many people will start a listing at a low price, which can then generate a lot of interested bidders who will bid the price up. For the seller, you have no way of knowing where the price will end up at, other than the starting price, and/or a reserve price. So a seller is taking a chance that the price could stay low or go high. Auctions feature a time span of 1-10 days. There is no cost to post a basic listing, and there are no fees if your item doesnt sell. The only auction fees are for listing options, and closing auction fees if your item does sell. SubdivisionSites Classifieds feature a set price. Sellers dont have the opportunity for the price to go up, but also dont have the risk of a price staying low. Additionally, sellers also have the option of posting a classified ad without a price listed. And sellers are always free to negotiate with buyers, just as they would with an old fashioned newspaper classified ad. Classified
