What is the difference between studying Urban Studies and Urban Planning?
Studying Urban Studies is to study all things related to the city from city design to transportation and pedestrian flow, from municipal policy to urban economics and development, and so on. While the Urban Studies degree may include practical planning skills, it is more inclined to give a solid theoretical underpinning for examining and analyzing urban issues. Studying Urban Planning is to focus more on actual planning skills including analytical methods, representational methods and uban design.
