What is the difference between standard-size and Duo-size Memory Stick media?
The difference is size. Memory Stick Duo media is one-third the volume and half the weight of standard-size media, yet it delivers the same performance and functions as standard-size Memory Stick media. The smaller Memory Stick Duo media was designed for use in ultra-compact and wearable devices, such as mobile phones and portable music players. With an adaptor, Memory Stick Duo media can be used in standard-size slots of Memory Stick-compatible products. Some compatible products incorporate a special media slot that accomodates both standard-size and Duo media without using an adaptor.
