What is the difference between standard and carbine air rifle versions?

0

Its the same distinction as with firearms. A carbine has a shorter barrel than the regular rifle. Depending on the quality of the gun, barrel, sights, etc… there’s no reason for an air-rifle carbine to be inherently less accurate than a full length rifle. However a carbine may be a bit less powerful since the expanding air has less time to impart energy to the projectile though. For practical purposes though the difference in power should be minimal. The upside to a carbine is that because its shorter, it usually is a bit lighter and it usually “handles” a bit better, especially in brush.
