What is the difference between sperm count and sperm fertility?
“Sperm count” deals with the AMOUNT of the “little tadpoles” swimming around in semen, when viewed under a microscope. “Sperm ferttility” deals with how ACTIVE the visible sperm are, such as how many are moving (and how many aren’t) and how fast the ones that are moving, are actually moving. Usually, the most active ones are indicative of the ones who would be expected to reach the egg first, and fertilize it, were they “lucky” enough to have been released into a friendly vagina.
