What is the difference between Socialism and Communism?? Do you see it here in America?
Same seed…different flowers. Read “The Law” by Bastiat to understand Socialism/Collectivism. Read “The Communist Manifesto” to understand Karl Marx and his ideology on Communism. They are both in theory meant to be altruistic and lead to a better society. However, history has proven that it cannot and will not work. Other good books that offer a good argument (against) collectivism of any sort are: “Atlas Shrugged” Ayn Rand. It’s a freakin’ monster of a book, and it has a love story in it too (who knew)! But the logic behind the ills of regulation and collectivism are made poignantly clear. “The Law” by Frederic Bastiat. Changed my life. It’s less than 100 pages and will have you hungry for liberty and thirsting for knowledge “The Road to Serfdom” by F.A. Hayek. He says the same thing about 20 different ways.
