What is the difference between Slow Pitch and Fast Pitch?
Fast Pitch softball is for girls who want to play competitive softball and hope to play in high school. Slow Pitch offers the opportunity for girls of all skill levels to have fun, while participating as part of a team. Fast Pitch players are expected to make a commitment to their team. It requires more time, practicing at home and travel to games outside of the Media Area. • Can my daughter play on multiple teams? While their hitting will generally suffer, girls can play on teams in both the Fast Pitch division and Slow Pitch division . No girls will be on two teams the same division. Girls may play for their school’s team. If a girl is on more than one team, it is very important to let the team coach know if a player cannot attend a practice or game. • How do I get to the fields?
