What is the difference between single shows and traveling shows?
Single shows versues traveling venues: now here’s the difference between a single show and traveling venues. Single shows: The quilt gets there, is taken out of the box, is hung, is taken down, and comes home again. Traveling venues: The quilt arrives, may wait for a short time for the venue, and generally the quilts are shipped altogether in “group boxes” to the venues. There may be one box, but your individual boxes are NOT shipped. This is a requirement of the traveling venues to keep all the quilts from one exhibit together, and also to save on postage.
