What is the difference between single line and dual line kites?
Single line kites are kites that most people are familiar with. They have a single string attached to the kite and are very stable in flight. Usually, children under 9 should start flying single line kites first. Dual line kites have two lines attached to the kite. One line is attached to the left side of the kite and the other line is attached to the right side. By pushing and pulling on the left and right lines you can control the kite in the air much like driving a car. Dual line kites can be much more interactive that single line kites. We usually do not recommend dual line kites for children under 9 years of age. However, we have known some shining exceptions.
