What is the difference between Single cans of 750ml foam (one-component) and Handi-Foam (two-component)?

0

A. One-component foam comes in a single can (or cylinder) and cures in 10 to 20 minutes through a reaction with moisture in the atmosphere, but can take up to 12 hours. Two-component foam comes in a kit with two cans (or cylinders), each containing separate chemical. Upon activation of the kit, the chemicals are mixed and dispensed through a specialized dispensing unit. The cure time is much shorter than one-component foams, usually within two minutes. Also the thermal properties are very different, Handi-Foam has a very high insulation value as it is ‘closed cell’ where normal cans of foam are not as they are ‘open cell’ which means they will allow heat to pass threw it.
