What is the difference between simple, normal and advanced converters?

0

You can choose between simple, normal and advanced converter from the tab menu shown below. The simple converter contains only the base units, such as “meter”, “gram”, “second” and so on, unless the derived unit is a SI unit, such as “kilogram”. The normal converter contains all the base units and some of the derived units. All derived units are placed under the corresponding base unit. Therefore units such as “centimeter”, “kilometer” will be located under the base unit “meter”. The advanced converter makes it possible for you to customize your conversion. Based on the base unit you choose, the advanced converter will automatically generate all the derived units for you. You can also use advanced converter, if you are not able to find the derived units in the normal converter, such as picometer and nanosecond.
