What is the difference between Shred-it and Securit?
Securit is an international information security company that has a number of integrated service offerings, including records management, data protection and document destruction. Shred-it is the brand name of the document destruction branch of our business. Why does it have a different name? Because our entire company started out as Shred-it, a North American leader in document destruction. When we saw that our clients had information security needs in addition to shredding, we decided to offer services under the Securit umbrella that would meet their needs and allow them to continue working with a company they know and trust.
