Shareware programs are programs that you can download and try either for a set period of time (eg. 30 days) or they can be feature limited in some way (eg. can’t save files). Freeware programs are just that, free! Adware is a new breed of software which is free to use but has clickable banner ads inserted right into the program interface. Finally, demos, like shareware, can be time or feature limited.
