What is the difference between SECURITY and RESERVATION deposit?

0

The refundable SECURITY deposit is a damage deposit. Once you have departed, our cleaning crew will inspect the property. If the condition of the unit is the same as it was upon arrival, the deposit money will be returned to you. If there is damage to the unit, the deposit will be used to offset the cost to repair damage. If the damage exceeds the deposit, renter will be responsible for the extra cost incurred. The RESERVATION deposit is used to hold the requested reservation. We do not offer those dates to anyone else. Should you cancel, the deposit may be lost. (see “Cancellation and refund” above).
