What is the difference between scrub nurse and circulating nurse?
A scrub nurse is a nurse who actually works with the surgeon beside the patient in the sterile field (where they are as best they can the cleanest). They will also set up the instrument trolley. A circulating nurse is someone who will had things to the scrub nurse or the surgeon with a clean technique. They also can write notes, set the patient up etc.
