What is the difference between Scenar & Cosmodic technologies?”
Basically there are two generations of Scenar, the first generation is called ‘Scenar’ and the second generation is called ‘Cosmodic’. Cosmodic is the latest technology and is by far the best. All the first generation Scenar’s on the market today are variants of the original Scenar-035 model which was released back in 1990. Since 1990, apart from some minor model changes, no further developments in first generation scenar technology has been made. See section on “Scenar History”. Even though the first generation scenar technology is over 20 years old, it still works for a lot of conditions. Be aware that with first generation Scenar’s, there are a lot of models made by different manufacturers, at various price levels, some being much better than others in their clinical applications. On the other hand Cosmodic, being second generation scenar technology, is constantly being improved and is much more sophisticated and advanced at handling complex chronic conditions than first generation
