What is the difference between sanitizing and Disinfecting?
Disinfecting offers a higher level of killing than sanitizing. The EPA has developed test methods for sanitizing and disinfecting. Both are relevant and important measurements of a product’s efficacy when used in the home. These test methods are very different in how they measure the effectiveness of a product to kill microorganisms.
