What is the difference between sand/rubber and all-rubber infill?
Our all-rubber system will play just like natural turf in pristine condition – only better. No divots, bald spots or slipping. It will have consistent footing, natural ball bounce, and great drainage. The addition of sand to our competitors systems causes many problems. Their surfaces harden in a short time, their drainage clogs, their sand stratifies, compacts and is abrasive to both the skin and the fibers. Also, our competitors sand-filled fields absorb moisture and contaminants. So, not only do their fields stay wet longer, but they also breed odours from bacteria, fungus, algae and blood, which cannot be purged through a backing with no holes. Therefore, they absorb directly into the sand.
