What is the difference between safety and non-safety glass?

0

Both tempered and laminated glass are termed “safety glass.” Safety glass must, by Building Code, be used in doors, adjacent to doors, and in openings withing a certain height (usually 18 inches) of the adjacent walking surface. This is true regardless of what type of glass was in the opening before. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions you may have.
