What is the difference between Rubber, Foam and Peel n’ Place backing?

Rubber is a heavy duty non skid backing. All of our rubber is heavy duty unless otherwise stated. Foam is a lighter material and is not non skid. Peel n’ Place is a re-applicable non-marking adhesive backing that comes with a protective coating. Once the protective coating is removed the mouse pad sticks to the desired surface. The mouse pad can then be peeled up and moved elsewhere, kind of like a sticky note.
