Routing tables store the routes that routers use to forward packets. BGP routing tables store only the BGP routes that are dynamically learned from neighbors or statically configured. Similarly, OSPF routing tables store only the OSPF routes. Routers will merge static routes, OSPF routes, and BGP routes into the routing tables.
