What is the difference between route planning and navigation in Maps 2.0?
Route planning is a free feature. It calculates and displays a route between two locations. A route simulation (with voice commands) is also possible (without paying additional license fees). Navigation is an extra service, which is available for purchase. Navigation means that the route is calculated from your current GPS position to a chosen destination (for mobile devices without an internal GPS receiver, an external GPS receiver may be necessary; check your mobile devices manual to see if it is equipped with an internal GPS receiver). The navigation is voice-guided, meaning it tells you how to get to the desired destination step by step (for example, “in 300 meters turn left”).
