What is the difference between reserves and reference materials?
Reserve materials are specifically requested for classes to be placed on reserve and can change with each semester. Reference materials are a permanent collection of works. Reserves can be circulated for a short time and can leave the library unless they are marked Building Use Only. Reference materials do not circulate or leave the library. Reserve materials are located behind the circulation desk on the first floor, while reference materials are located behind the reference desk on the east side of the first floor.
