What is the difference between reinforced PVC and non-reinforced PVC?
Reinforced PVC describes a polyester mesh in between two layers of PVC. Non-reinforced PVC does not have this mesh. The benefits of reinforced PVC are that the material has almost no stretch, is more abrasion resistant, and won’t puncture as easy. Reinforced material also provides increased durability and long life, while also being much easier to repair. The added mesh tends to make reinforced PVC produced more costly, but the increase in quality is often worth the added price.
