What is the difference between regular copper and patina finish?
A. We put a chemical on the copper to speed up the aging process. What usually would happen in the aging process is that the copper would first turn to a dark brown upon oxidation (due to the natural elements). The next step would be that the copper would turn to a copper sulfate, which is the verdigris green color. This would naturally take 5-10 years.
