All of South Australia is considered a regional area. This means the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme and the Regional 457 program are available throughout the state. However, only employers in non-metropolitan areas can nominate occupations in the ASCO code range 5, 6 and 7 under Regional 457 provisions.
