What is the difference between Refuels Fuel Tank Washing process and the kidney loop method?

Refuel not only cleans and polishes the fuel, we physically clean the structure of the tank as well. The kidney loop method basically pulls the fuel from one opening of the tank and pumps it through a series of filters and then returns the fuel to the tank. This process of polishing fuel may get the water and some of the particulate out of tank via the fuel but the tank itself is still dirty. We refer to this as “putting a clean baby back into a dirty diaper”! Refuel’s process pulls the fuel out of tank through a series of filters and stores it in one of our holding tanks. After the fuel is pulled from the tank, the tank is thoroughly cleaned using high pressure wash that removes the bottom sludge as well as scale that is adhered to the side walls and top of tank. All wash water and sludge is vacuumed from the tank and clean fuel is dropped back into a cleaned tank.
