What is the difference between recycling at a convenience center and recycling curbside?
You can recycle aluminum cans, cardboard, newspaper, all paper grades (except shredded), #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a neck and steel cans that have been washed out when you recycle curbside. Convenience centers offer additional recycling capabilities. At a convenience center, you can recycle all the items you recycle curbside plus shredded paper, glass bottles (brown, green, clear), computers, small electronics, wet cell batteries and used motor oil.
