What is the difference between reconditioning and refinishing the cars exterior?
A. Reconditioning is a generalized term used to describe different methods of repairing paint damage. Paint surface reconditioning (wet sanding/buffing) and specialized touch-up techniques usually do not produce “perfect” repairs but they often can bring satisfactory results for certain applications. The biggest advantage to reconditioning is that it leaves the original finish intact. Refinishing is the industry term for repainting. Our innovative approach to refinishing is what separates us from traditional collision shops.
