What is the difference between real stone and cultured stone?

0

Real stone is natural, pourous, dense, heavy and lasts a lifetime with no curing or treatment needed. Overtime, natural stone does not age, discolor, become brittle or chipped, and when properly installed, will remain in place as long as the home/deck/ etc. does! Cultured stone carries none of the natural traits, is mass processed, and quality comparison is defined easily as “fake vs. real.” If cutting cost and quality is the goal, cultured stone is an alternative. Otherwise, natural stone is the obvious choice of stone.
