Quick Stories are merely favorite stories you would like easy access to and take you to the beginning of a story, but bookmarks are set wherever you like in a story by clicking the “add/update bookmark” link on a part of the story. This allows you to keep track of where you are in a long story, or where you are in a story you are writing with someone, etc.
