Both the #5 Quat Disinfectant/Cleaner and the Phenolic Disinfectant/Cleaner are broad spectrum disinfectants effective against gram positive, gram negative, fungi and selected viruses. The #18 Phenolic Disinfectant/Cleaner is also effective against Parvo virus as well as a number of other organisms of veterinary significance. The #5 Quat Disinfectant/Cleaner is often selected as the everyday disinfectant of choice with the #18 Phenolic Disinfectant Cleaner being reserved for suspected Parvo virus cases.
