What is the difference between Purified and Functional Grade Purified?

0

The Purified format of our mAb clones contain sodium azide to maintain sterility of the sample. The Purified product can be used in WB, IP, IHC, and flow. Functional Grade Purified (FG) products contain no preservatives such as sodium azide, and are commonly used in bioassays and in vivo studies. FG products are tested for sterility and meet the industry’s standard endotoxin levels of less than 0.001 ng endotoxin/g antibody; however, the endotoxin levels are often much lower than these standards. Because these products contain no preservatives, appropriate measures must be taken to maintain their sterility.
