A. CardioPacer measures blood flow rate in the finger with a photoelectric (infrared light) sensor. it translates changes in blood flow into a “beats per minutes” reading Heart Rate Monitors, which are much more accurate, use electrodes worn on the chest to count the number of signals that the brain tells the heart to beat. Study has shown that our heart rate monitor is equivalent to an EKG machine in accuracy.
