What is the difference between Preferred Drug List (PDL) neutral and PDL neutral reviewed?
A PDL neutral drug is a new drug in a class, that class having been reviewed for PDL status, but the drug itself has not yet been up for review by the Therapeutics Committee/Drug Utilization Review Board. A PDL neutral reviewed drug is a new drug in a class, that class having been reviewed for the PDL status, when the drug HAS been up for review by the Therapeutics Committee/Drug Utilization Review Board, but the drug has not been assigned a preferred or non-preferred status.
