A positive reinforcement obedience class trains a puppy with treats and praise for getting a command right rather than punishment for getting a command wrong (as it is with negative reinforcement). Ridgebacks should ONLY be trained using positive reinforcement! You should never use a choke, prong or shock collar on a Ridgeback. Do you recommend crate training a Ridgeback? Absolutely.
