What is the difference between PNG Led and Australian Guided Treks?
Both treks walk the same trek, stay in the same accommodation eat the same food and have the same wonderful PNG porters. Our PNG led treks do not have the same degree of historical information or commemoration services that the Australian Guided treks do. Our Australian guides have a great deal of knowledge about the history of the Kokoda Track and a passion for the story. The Australian guide is also first aid trained to a higher degree and adds that extra touch of security for those not so comfortable in a wilderness situation. The hire of some camping gear is also included in an Australian led trek.
