Plea day is a day for you to speak with the judge about any questions and concerns, or to plea guilty with an explanation. Officers and witnesses are not required to appear on plea day. On trial day the officer will be required to attend so that he may answer questions relating to your particular incident. Most attorney handled cases are heard this day and if you are pleading not guilty, this is the day you are required to attend.
