What is the difference between Platinum and Iridium?
The platinum electrode “p” series has a 0.90 mm / 0.035″ diameter electrode tip and is suitable for most applications to provide the full benefits of the pulsed technology. The iridium electrode “I” series has a 0.50 mm / 0.020″ diameter electrode tip and provides an additional concentration or focus of the energy at the spark gap. This has shown to enhance performance for those drivers seeking additional horsepower and torque in their driving experience.
