What is the difference between Plan and Foster Parents Plan?
Plan was founded in 1937 as Foster Parents Plan. In 2006, we changed our name to Plan to better reflect how our work has evolved. We began by providing aid to individual children, but over time we learned that it takes a community to meet any individual child’s needs. We are now known simply as Plan in the more than 65 countries where we work. Learn more about our history.
