What is the difference between Pilates mat classes and Pilates with the machines?
Pilates mat classes are performed on a mat. No Pilates equipment is used except for possibly small equipment such as a theraband or small ball. Pilates on the machines makes use of specialized Pilates equipment, such as the Reformer or the Cadillac. However, the same exercises can be executed on the mat.
