What is the difference between PIE and PIE-DIGEST?
PIE and PIE Digest are different methods for receiving the same messages. PIE sends an individual message to each subscriber every time some one else on the list submits a message to pie@jsoft.com. ADVANTAGES: PIE gets messages sent to you without delay. You will get messages that PIE Digest subscribers get only they will arrive sooner. DISADVANTAGES: PIE can generate as many as 50-75 new messages a day. If you are restricted on the number of messages you can receive in your mailbox, PIE may cause you problems with your service provider. PIE Digest is compiled version of the same messages that are sent out via PIE. When about 30k of message are stored up (the number of individual messages varies because of the size of each message) they are compiled in a Digest and sent as one e-mail message.
