Permanent colour contains ammonia and peroxide which change the aspect and texture of the hair and allows colour to penetrate the cuticle which can provide dramatic hair colour changes. Semi-permanent colour contains conditioner, has a small volume of peroxide and is ammonia free. This does not alter the condition and texture of the hair and enhances shine and natural colour.
