Programs that utilize volunteers inlcude: Continuing Care – Provides individuals with physical or mental disabilities the necessary support in a home-like setting. These people can no longer safely care for themselves at home. Continuing Care provides nursing care, therapy services, meals, laundry and housekeeping. Acute Care – Provides medical care to the public. This includes diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Community Home Care – Provides the necessary medical, personal care, home support and social work in order for people to remain in their own homes.
