What is the difference between Part I and Part II of the application?
Part I of the application consists of the Data Form and $230 application fee. Interview requests can be made by checking the appropriate box on the Data Form and submitting Part I. Part II of the application includes the essays, transcripts, résumé, letters of recommendation (a.k.a. Career Progress Surveys) and Kellogg Honor Code. Candidates should submit Part I of the application by the dates designated in the admissions timetable to allow sufficient time to arrange and conduct their interviews.
There are two parts to the Application for the Kellogg School of Management. Part I consists of the Data form, interview preference selection, and the $250 non-refundable application fee. Part II is where you will upload your essays, scanned transcripts, resumes and where you will register your recommenders (Career Progress Survey). Kellogg is one of the few schools which requires all applicants to request an interview. Part I of the application allows candidates to submit their interview preference (on campus vs. off campus) prior to completing their essays. Because it may take 4 to 6 weeks to receive an interview assignment, particularly during the peak season, we strongly encourage candidates to submit Part I as soon as possible.
