What is the difference between panic attacks and hyperventilation?

0

Hyperventilation simply is over-breathing. Hyperventilation is often a symptom a panic attack thus they are often considered the same as a panic attack. However it can also be a symptom of other things as well. Also while it is common to hyperventilate during a panic attack, it is not true for everyone. I rarely hyperventilate during a panic attack instead I can’t get warm, it’s like I’m stuck in a freezer even when its warm out. Some other conditions that can cause hyperventilation are strokes, lung disease, over-exhaustion, and head injuries.
