Besides the obvious, one is paid and one is not, unpaid Cooperative Work Experience Education requires that an agreement between Butte College and the employer be completed in order to cover the students worker’s compensation. The programs also have different requirements for number of hours worked per unit. See the Cooperative Work Experience Education Information Sheet for details.
