What is the difference between P050 & T100?

There is a distinct difference between the P050 & T100 antibodies: • T100: Total IgG where the serum collected is purified on Protein A. Generally sold at 100 ug at 1 ug/ul • P050: Peptide Affinity Purified antibody where the IgG is further purified by affinity chromatography using the specific peptide immunogen. PAP antibody generally has a much higher specific activity that IgG, requires far less antibody/reaction, and produces less background. Consequently it is sold in smaller lots of 50 ug at 1 ug/ul.
