What is the difference between other clays or mud on the market?
The main differences are the level of silicate and mineral content. Dead sea mud is almost to glacial clay but the large difference is the level of sodium when it is first dug. It is dug on the shores of the Dead Sea and because of that, the salt levels are very high. It then has to be washed to remove the sodium and in doing so there is a loss of trace minerals. Moorbad mud comes mainly from Austria. Mineral analysis is nothing like the glacial marine clay.
